The Road to Emission-Free Mobility.
Daimler’s roadmap towards sustainable mobility includes optimizing vehicles with internal combustion engines, further increasing efficiency through hybridization, and achieving emission-free driving with battery and fuel cell electric vehicles. Fuel cell vehicles can be viewed as the solution with the greatest potential when it comes to commercializing a vehicle technology that will be competitive with conventional vehicles in every respect.
The B-Class F-CELL is the first Mercedes-Benz series-produced electric vehicle with fuel cell propulsion.
Fuel cell electric vehicles are refueled with hydrogen, unlike pure battery electric vehicles, which need to be charged. The refueling process is quick, easy, safe and similar to refueling a conventional car.
